A Fellow is a long-standing and exceptional professional Certified Member in good standing of the Institute who:
- Has been acknowledged and recognized by the Canadian Institute of Planners nationally for an outstanding contribution to planning and the profession.
- Agrees to abide by the Institute’s bylaws & Code of Ethics & Professional Conduct.
- Maintains her/his skills, knowledge, and abilities in accordance with the Institute’s required Continuous Professional Learning system.
Certified Members in good standing who receive the honourific designation of Fellow are entitled to use the designation 'FCIP', in addition to the professional designation and title 'Registered Professional Planner' or 'RPP' after their name.
