PIBC South Coast Chapter
Back by popular demand, the PIBC South Coast Chapter presents “Spring is a Brewing!”, a 2nd chance to look at planning for microbreweries. This time, we invite you to join us at Moody Ales for a look at the opportunity, challenges, and outcomes of planning and zoning for microbreweries in the suburban tri-city areas. At Moody Ales, the first microbrewery to be established along “brewery row”, planners and speakers from Port Moody and Coquitlam will tell us about accommodating and siting these new uses, while the local brewers will also give us some insight on what it took to get the brewery started.
The event starts at 5:30pm and official ends at 7:30pm, although we invite you to stick around after to continue the soiree with your colleagues and friends. Bring your questions, curiosity, and discerning tasting palate! Come for the talk, stay for the drinks, snacks and draw prizes!
Note: we also encourage you to come by Skytrain and try out the new Evergreen Line Extension. Moody Ales is only short 10 min walk from Moody Centre Skytrain Station. From the station, walk west to the end of the station's parking lot, go up the stairs, over the overpass, and down the pedestrian ramp towards Murray St. Take the pedestrian crossing to the south side of Murray St. and walk west to Moody Ales.
