Welcome to the PIBC Peer Learning Network
Empowering planners, practitioners and partners through shared knowledge and collaboration.
What's New
With the generous support of the Province of BC, PIBC launched the Peer Learning Network (PLN) in January 2024. Over the course of 2.5 years, PIBC designed and delivered a diverse range of offerings to facilitate peer-to-peer learning about provincial housing legislation and related matters.
The Peer Learning Network formally concluded as of June 30, 2026 but existing PLN resources, including this website, will continue to be available online.
We want to hear about your experience and views about the Peer Learning Network! Your feedback is extremely valuable and will be used to inform PIBC's ongoing and future efforts to deliver effective and beneficial resources and services.

This province-wide engagement process included 12 key informant interviews with planners and local government representatives, as well as 7 regional engagement sessions involving 47 participants representing municipalities, regional districts, consultants, and planning professionals from BC communities. The project also included the collection and review of implementation resources, examples, and supporting materials shared by participants.
