We are excited to officially launch the PIBC Intelligent Inventory! PIBC, in association with NeuraCities and MODUS Planning, Design & Engagement, has developed an inventory of local government plans and regulations powered by Artificial Intelligence (AI) as part of the PIBC Peer Learning Network (PLN) initiative.
This tool is intended to empower planners and practitioners to efficiently query, analyze, and compare policies and regulations between communities. As a first step, this Intelligent Inventory includes Official Community Plans and zoning bylaws for 80 local governments in British Columbia. Learn more about the PIBC Intelligent Inventory here.
PIBC is hosting a free webinar today (April 8) to introduce this new tool to members and planning professionals. Speakers will share a detailed introduction, useful tips and a behind-the-scenes look at this first AI tool specifically built for planners to instantly search, compare, and verify OCPs and zoning bylaws in BC. The webinar recording will be available shortly after the live event and will be posted on the PIBC PLN website.
