The Province of British Columbia is hosting a series of webinars to support local government implementation of Bills 44, 46, and 47:

• Bill 44: Housing Statutes (Residential Development) Amendment
• Bill 46: Housing Statutes (Development Financing) Amendment Act
• Bill 47: Housing Statutes (Transit-Oriented Areas) Amendment Act

Each webinar is designed to support local government staff by providing technical overviews of the requirements from legislation and regulations and a question-and-answer period. Following each webinar, presentations will be made available on this page. Webinars will be recorded and made available, when possible, for those unable to attend.

• January 16, 2024 — Secondary Suites Overview / Accessory Dwelling Unit Requirements
• January 17, 2024 — Small-Scale, Multi-Unit Housing Overview
• January 18, 2024 — Transit-Oriented Areas Overview (Municipalities in Metro Vancouver)
• January 23, 2024 — Small-Scale, Multi-Unit Housing Overview
• January 25, 2024 — Transit-Oriented Areas Overview (All other Municipalities with TOD Areas)
