Overview:

Last year around this same time PIBC hosted a webinar which explored the legal requirements of holding virtual council meetings, committee meetings, public hearings, public consultations and what local governments should consider as they adapt processes and strategies in response to COVID-19. This webinar will revisit the legal requirements and hear from planners across the province on how their local communities have been adjusting.  Find out what is working and what remains a challenge.  Hear firsthand about recent public engagement processes – the successes, the challenges and what was learned in the process.

Join Don Lidstone of Lidstone & Company, Jana Zelenski of Lanarc, local planners representing both small and large communities and representatives from the development sector for an informative, reflective and interactive webinar.
