Join us on a tour of the Capital Regional District's watershed and treatment facility! During this tour you will have an opportunity to discover natural landscapes, learn about the region's water supply reservoir, treatment processes that provide the region's drinking water, and the challenges that this system faces now and in the future.
This tour will be guided by CRD staff and will be provided through a chartered bus.
Please meet at 3051 Niagara Main Road at 12:45 (see attached map). The shuttle bus for the tour will depart promptly at 1:00 pm.
The event will occur rain or shine. The majority of the tour will take place on the bus, though comfortable walking shoes are recommended for stops along the way. Attendees are encouraged to bring water and a snack.
