Awards for Individual Achievement
The Awards for Individual Achievement allow colleagues and the profession to recognize the broader, personal achievements and contributions of individual PIBC Members separate and apart from any one particular plan, policy, project or other work product. These awards recognize and celebrate the overall impact of individual members’ work and personal commitment to planning and the effect they have in their community and within the profession.
PIBC encourages nominations/submissions for individual achievement in the following three categories:
- Distinguished Professional Contribution
- Leadership in Advocacy & Innovation
- Young Professional Leadership
2026 Awards Timeline
Call for submissions open: January 12, 2026
Submission deadline: February 23, 2026, 4 pm PT
Results released to submitters: May 1, 2026
Presentation of awards: June 2-5, 2026 at the 2026 PIBC Annual Conference - Bold Plans. Local Action. - in Penticton, BC
