Join us for the upcoming Climate Action Dialogues focused on transportation, the largest source of greenhouse gas emissions in the Metro Vancouver region. Metro Vancouver’s Climate 2050 Transportation Roadmap charts the course toward a carbon-neutral, resilient transportation system, with strategies to reduce emissions and protect the network from climate impacts.
This Dialogue will explore ways to move people and goods, relying less on individuals in cars. It will also discuss the positive impacts of reducing driving, such as enhanced air quality, congestion management, and promotion of health through increased active transportation.
Whether you’re in the industry or interested in the role transportation plays in our region’s future, this dialogue is for you.
Please note: the event will be held at the Surrey City Hall, 2E Community Rooms A and B located on second floor.
