This is an asynchronous course beginning November 6. This course is eligible for PIBC CPL credits.
How many times have you seen great ideas for better climate policy fail because people or politics got in the way? Effective climate action requires the ability to identify and leverage power in strategic ways, but our own implicit biases can get in our way. How we unconsciously accept the way the playing field is tilted and cede ground to other people also reinforces power structures.
It doesn't have to be this way. This course will give you the building blocks for a greater understanding of power -- your own and others -- and the tools you need to effectively navigate power in the workplace and the community for meaningful climate action.
