To start the year right, PIBC is pleased to host the second annual ‘Ask a Lawyer’ webinar as part of the Peer Learning Network. This will be a busy year as local governments in British Columbia must complete the review and update of their Official Community Plans and zoning bylaws by December 2025. The panel of legal experts will answer your general questions about these and other provincial housing legislative requirements.
For questions that are specific to a particular community or context, the lawyers will offer guidance on how the necessary information can be obtained and where obtaining a specific legal opinion would be advisable.
The panelists will be Alison Espetveidt (Lidstone), Pam Jefcoat (Civic Legal), Michael Moll (Civic Legal), and Guy Patterson (Young Anderson). Please see below for more information on our panelists.
