Following the BCER 101 webinar held in March, this session takes a deeper dive into the BCER's new regulatory framework for wind and solar energy projects. The Renewable Energy Projects Regulation establishes a regulatory framework for the permitting and oversight of wind and solar energy projects in British Columbia.
Join the BCER for an overview of the new framework and how it is being implemented for decisions on project applications. The session will explore key aspects of the regulatory process, the BCER's role, and what proponents, First Nations, local governments, and other interested parties can expect under the new framework. Registrants can send questions they may have about BCER's processes when they register.
To register and to send any questions, please email by August 5th to: ashley.murphey@gmail.com
You will be sent the zoom link on August 7th.
