Green Infrastructure Tour: Exploring Recent Project in Tillicum/Burnside  

Join the PIBC VIS Chapter, in collaboration with the PIBC Climate Action Sub-Committee, as we discuss recent green infrastructure projects around Tillicum/Burnside on November 4th in recognition of World Town Planning Day. This event is eligible for 1.0 CPL credit. 

Please meet at 4:30 PM at Tillicum Elementary School (3155 Albina Street, Victoria, BC).

Event Highlights: 

• Learn about the integration of nature-based solutions and biodiversity within recent project and how this approach is re-wilding the area, and addressing climate change. 
• Tour the Tillicum Elementary School's green infrastructure and active transportation upgrade, and bike lane installation on Tillicum Road. 
• Discuss the Tillicum Burnside Plan update, and how this work connects and supports these recent projects. 

This is a walking tour that will take place outside - please address accordingly!
