PIBC 2025 Annual Conference - Next Chapter

The 2025 Annual Conference of the Planning Institute of British Columbia (PIBC) will be held from June 10th to June 13th at the Sheraton Vancouver Wall Centre in vibrant Downtown Vancouver - a thriving urban core surrounded by stunning natural landscapes, and a hub of innovative urban design, transit-oriented development, and forward-thinking policies that tackle today’s key planning challenges.
Please note: Conference registration closed on May 28, 2025. Onsite and virtual registrations are not available after the deadline.

We are excited to welcome Dr. Dave Amos, Assistant Professor of City and Regional Planning at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and producer of City Beautiful on YouTube, as our Wednesday morning keynote speaker.
On Thursday morning, join us to hear from Dr. Lorna Wanosts’a7 Williams, recipient of the Order of Canada in 2020 and Professor Emerita of Indigenous Education, Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Victoria, on her remarkable journey and her hopes for the Next Chapter.
