Call for PIBC 2022 Awards Ends on March 6

Don't miss this year's opportunity to recognize the best in planning in British Columbia and Yukon! The call for submissions and nominations for the PIBC 2022 Awards program will close soon on March 6.

Members can make submissions and nominations online for the following awards. Click on the links below to learn more about each award categories and submission process.

Awards for Excellence in Planning (5 categories)
The annual PIBC Awards recognize and reflect the diverse range of excellent planning work as well as the overall contributions & achievements of outstanding individual members, including young and new members of the profession.

Awards for Individual Achievement (3 categories)
The Awards for Individual Achievement recognize and celebrate the overall impact of individual members’ work and personal commitment to planning and the effect they have in their community and within the profession.

Honourary & Life Member Recognitions
Provide your input for two distinguished opportunities to recognize and honour individuals outside of the Institute's membership who have contributed significantly to planning or to the Institute (Honourary Membership) and accomplished, long-serving professional members of the Institute worthy of special distinction (Life Member designation).

Submission & Nomination deadlines:
End of day March 6, 2022

Important Submission Information:
All award submissions and nominations must be submitted online. Prospective submitters are strongly encouraged to carefully review the complete Call for Submission documents and to have all supporting documents ready before making submissions online.

PIBC encourages all members to consider submitting an expression of interest for the opportunities listed above. In recognition of the systemic conditions of disadvantage faced by many, we encourage expressions of interest from members of groups that have been historically disadvantaged and marginalized, including First Nations, Metis, and Inuit peoples, Indigenous peoples, racialized persons, persons with disabilities, and those who identify as women and/or 2SLGBTQ+.
