Sa̱nala Planning is excited to present a summer webinar series, led by CEO Jessie Hemphill and Senior Planner Dana Moraes. Jessie and Dana draw on decades of experience and condense it into two-hour virtual sessions on proposal writing, pre-contact Indigenous planning, Planning for Joy, Comprehensive Community Planning (CCP) 101, community engagement, and plan implementation.
These webinars are ideal bite-size professional development for Indigenous and non-Indigenous planners, planning students, and any community member engaged in bringing about self-determination for their people.
Comprehensive Community Planning (CCP) 101
This webinar is a crash course in Indigenous Comprehensive Community Planning (CCP) - a holistic, community-driven approach to long-term planning used by hundreds of First Nations across so-called-Canada. In this webinar we will talk about how a CCP fits into the “Ecosystem of Indigenous Planning” - how it differs from a strategic plan, workplan, Official Community Plan and other types of plans. We will talk about the four phases of a CCP process and key do’s and don’ts, and we will share lots of resources and helpful tips.
