Join the Planning Institute of BC (PIBC) and the Urban Development Institute (UDI) as part of our partnered event series, addressing topics that are top-of-mind for planners and developers alike.
Despite combined efforts by both the public and private sector, issues of climate change, affordability and social equity remain at the forefront of our professions. We are living through an era of rising costs and interest rates, putting further pressure on our ability to meaningfully address the important issues of our day. Continued project cost increases pose a challenge to both the development industry and all levels of government in achieving desired outcomes. In this webinar, we will explore the effectiveness of development related local government policies aimed at addressing a number of important issues and discuss the realities of balancing priorities in an uncertain economic climate. Register to hear from industry leaders tackling these issues head-on!
Please Note:
While everyone is welcome, special pricing is in effect for this webinar to encourage emerging professionals and students to attend! This event is a joint webinar with UDI and, as such, will be hosted on UDI's Zoom instead of PIBC's usual Adobe Connect Webinar Platform. Please do not share the link as it will inhibit your ability to join. If you are registering for multiple attendees, please ensure you provide each individual e-mail address for every attendee.
