Save the Date: October 25, 2024. 

You are invited to save the date for the annual PIBC Okanagan Interior Chapter and CITE BC Interior Section’s joint Fall Conference on Friday, October 25th, 2024 in Penticton! 

This conference will be focused on the theme of “A New Era of Housing Legislation” in the BC Interior. We would like to invite interested speakers who would like to present at the conference to submit a brief proposal for the program. Further, we would also like to invite your organization to consider sponsoring this annual event. More details are provided as follows.
 

Submit A Program Proposal by August 31!

Proponents wishing to be considered for the conference program are asked to submit a short proposal by August 31, 2024. We are looking for up to five, 15-minute presentations and a panel moderator.

Suggested presentation topics include:

• Land Use and Transportation Planning Integration
• Parking Management
• Transit Support and Impacts
• Infrastructure Planning
• Impacts to Land Use Zoning

Key information you will need to successfully complete a submission include:

• Name(s), contact, and short bio (up to 50 words) for the proposal presenters
• A title for the proposed presentation
• A short description of the proposed presentation (up to 200 words)

Please submit proposals to bcinterior@itecanada.org by August 31, 2024.
 

Become a Conference Sponsor!

We invite your organization to become a sponsor for this Fall Conference. Up to three sponsorship slots are available and include your organization’s logo and branding on the event poster that will be distributed to PIBC and CITE members across the BC Interior. Your organization name and logo will also appear on the conference screen during registration, coffee break and lunch breaks and your organization name will be recognized by our conference organizers throughout the day.
