Save the date for PIBC PLN Webinar #6. Registration opens in February 2025.

Implementing the provincial housing legislation has daylighted challenges and opportunities for communities across the province. In this webinar, we are pleased to have practitioners in several small and medium-size communities share how they are undertaking proactive planning and confronting the interdependencies of housing demand and development, infrastructure, amenities, and funding. These communities also have a diverse land base: urban, rural, agricultural, and areas with environmental values.

The presenters will be Emily Gray (City of Delta), Hasib Nadvi (City of Maple Ridge), and Chris Osborne (Municipality of North Cowichan). In addition, Guy Patterson (Young Anderson) will serve as the ‘Lawyer-in-Residence’ offering general legal perspectives throughout the session.

Registration is required for this free webinar, which is open to PIBC Members and Non-Members.

To ensure the speakers will have time to respond to your questions, you will have the option to submit up to two questions in advance when you register (registration opens in February).
