Green Shores Level 2 is an in-depth, two-day field and classroom course that will enhance your knowledge and skill in applying nature-based shoreline solutions using the Green Shores credit and rating system.
Green Shores Level 2 is specifically designed for professionals (planners, biologists, engineers, landscape architects), contractors, municipal and Indigenous government staff, and others involved in planning, designing, constructing, or managing shorelines of any size.
The workshop begins with a review of shoreline ecosystems, including threats and issues, management and restoration strategies, and the regulatory structures in place. Participants will then delve deeper into the Green Shores program, learning its benefits to stakeholders and steps for implementation.
