Director, Real Estate Development

TransLink is seeking a Director, Real Estate Development.

Reporting to the Vice President, Real Estate, Commercial Strategy & Innovation, this role will serve as a member of the TransLink Real Estate Division leadership team. You will provide leadership in developing real estate strategy, planning, and executing real estate development opportunities that are linked to public transit. The key objective will be to achieve the long-term vision and strategic direction for non-taxation revenue generation as a funding source for TransLink.

You will lead a multi-disciplinary team to complete the entire planning, approval and development process from visioning to execution. You will provide innovative and creative design solutions and lead the negotiation and management of complex, multi-stakeholder and commercially sensitive agreements.

As the ideal candidate, you bring experience in commercial, industrial and multi-residential development. Knowledge of transportation or infrastructure projects would be an asset.

Your success is founded on your ability to foster productive relationships, strategic partnerships, represent TransLink effectively in the community, and ensure exceptional customer care.   Your ability to lead teams internally and ensure contractors and external stakeholders are aligned with the project deliverables will be essential.
