Each September 30th marks the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day to honour the lost children and Survivors of residential schools, their families and communities. As the Institute and the planning profession continue our work towards truth and reconciliation, we remind everyone to reflect on their personal role and responsibility in decolonization.
Through PIBC's Planning Practice & Reconciliation Committee (PPRC), we remain committed to decolonizing this institution and the planning practice in BC and Yukon. Click here to read PPRC's update on this important work.
PIBC's office will be closed on September 30th for the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
