Earlier this year the Planning Institute of British Columbia (PIBC), in partnership with the Canadian Institute of Planners (CIP) and all six other provincial and regional professional planning institutes and associations across Canada, undertook a nationwide survey exploring compensation and benefits within the planning profession. The resulting "Canadian Professional Planners National Compensation & Benefits Survey" report was published and distributed through CIP in late October. The release of the national report was also accompanied by an online webinar hosted by CIP that reviewed & highlighted some of the key information revealed by the survey.
In addition to this national survey report, a companion regional report for the BC and Yukon regions has been prepared for PIBC, based on the same survey data but examining and analyzing just the responses from planners in BC and Yukon. This regional report is now available and provides additional regionally specific information for PIBC members on compensation and benefits across the profession in BC and Yukon.
Please click here for a copy of the PIBC Regional Report.
*Please note: Results from this survey are based on the sample of responses received and may not necessarily be precisely representative of the entire professional planning membership in BC and Yukon.
Thank you to all PIBC members who participated in the survey and to our partners at CIP and the other provincial and regional professional planning institutes and associations for their participation and support for this joint initiative.
