Eric has 45 years of experience as a professional planner, economist, management consultant and educator. His consulting practice is now primarily focused on advising local governments throughout BC. He is also an adjunct professor in the School of Resource and Environmental Management at Simon Fraser University.
Eric has served on PIBC’s Professional Conduct Review Committee since it was formed in 1999 and was its first chair.

James Stiver RPP, MCIP is the Director of Planning and Building at the City of Maple Ridge. He holds degrees in Urban and Regional Planning and Local Economic Development and has been a planner and city builder for over 30 years. He has been a proud RPP for more than 25 years.
