Metro Vancouver Fifth Annual Zero Waste Conference: A Future Without Waste
Redefining Value - Building the Circular Economy
Metro Vancouver’s fifth annual Zero Waste Conference will take place October 29th and feature key discussions on how to address waste generation and build a circular economy. With keynotes by Sustainability Pioneer, William McDonough and Ikea Canada President, Stefan Sjöstrand, sessions will look at key themes such as the business case for zero waste and the circular economy, the sharing economy, materials innovation, food waste and much more. It will also include a special session by Canada’s National Zero Waste Council on how to scale collective action in Canada to address the urgent issue of waste.
This conference will be relevant to local government policy-makers, planners, and those working in solid waste planning and operations as well as economic development.
