SFU CITY103 - Transportation Planning Foundations

This is an online course offered over four Thursday evenings beginning January 30. This course is eligible for PIBC CPL credits. 

Transportation involves the myriad multimodal ways in which goods and people move. In general, transportation planning involves undertaking strategy, analysis, conceptual or schematic design, planning, monitoring, and engagement. This course focuses on the professional practice and process of transportation planning, including a high-level overview of transportation governance in metro Vancouver, and best practices in planning for transit, active transportation, driving and parking, goods movement, and new mobility.
